We had the privilege of working here on Bequia for 10 months assisting Missionary Keith Blalock at Gospel Light Baptist Church. A few years later, Brother Timothy Mitchall from Trinidad became the Pastor of Gospel Light Baptist Church and is doing a wonderful work for the Lord. Bro. Mitchell has a burden to reach the lost and teach the word of God. Over the last few years we have become good friends as we work together to reach the people here in Bequia with the Gospel.

The church planting efforts here in Bequia have proven to be a very slow, yet rewarding, ministry. Many people here are steeped in religion, trusting in their baptism, good works, holy days, and even blinded by their so called “prophets”. I truly believe that God is doing some great things in the hearts and lives of people here in Bequia.
God has allowed us to start Bible Baptist Church in Paget Farm, Bequia in 2017, after 2 years of laboring, street preaching, and ministering. We now have a small downstairs apartment that we have remodeled and are renting for the time. Our prayer is that, one day, we can buy property and build a more suitable church and pastor's residence to better serve the community and reach the Lost. |
