I was raised in a Christians Home brought up in church knowing about God and His love but at the age of fourteen Gods Love became real in my heart and on July 5th 2001 the Lord saved me.
At the age of Seventeen I surrendered to preach and do what ever the Lord would have me to do. For the next few years He worked in my heart a desire and a burden for missions. In 2009 the Lord opened up a door for me to work with Bro. Keith Blalock for about 10 months on the Island of Bequia and it was there that the Lord burdened our hearts for the West Indies, and the Grenadines islands on november 5, 2010 we fully surrendered to go the the Missions field. The Lord used the verses Matthew 9:37-38 and Jeremiah 8:20 to confirm it in our hearts.
My name is Mckenzie Ballinger
I was also raised in a christian home and have spent most of my life on the mission field . That was not enough to get me to Heaven and the Lord showed me that and saved my soul in the summer of 2002.
Since the Lord saved me He has been continuously working missions into my heart. I am so glad that He has allowed My husband and I to reach the world for Him.
Since arriving to the field in 2014, we have been working on the island of Bequia. Our first year here on the mission field we filled in for a national pastor, Timothy Mitchall, at Gospel Light Baptist Church in O’car, Bequia. Since that time we have continued witnessing, street preaching, and holding weekly Bible studies on the south side of Bequia. The Lord provided us a tent and our first tent meeting was in March of 2017. We had 4 professions of salvation and the attendance was over 50 each night with a high of over 75. In July, after several years of praying, we were able to rent our first building and we have seen a steady growth and regular visitors since then.
The island of Canouan (population 2,000) and Union (population 3,000) lie just 12-15 miles from Bequia. Both islands have no like-faith Baptist churches on them. Our prayer is that we will be able to start by holding a 2-week tent meeting on each of these islands and raise enough support to be able to travel between these islands by boat holding weekly Bible studies and services. Our main desire is to raise the needed monthly support to continue the work in Bequia, but also begin the outreach ministry to the other islands.
Will you pray with us and consider helping us reach the islands of the Grenadines?
