Dear friends in Christ,
We would like to say thank you for all that you have done for our family. The last two months have been amazing watching the Lord work in our hearts and the hearts of many others. We have been able to visit with several supporting churches and new ones as well. We have been in missions conferences and had two churches promise support along with three families that have committed to support our family monthly. This should put our support level up to about 70%.
Through much prayer and talking with our Pastor we are now making plans to leave for the Islands on August 19th . We are confident that the Lord will help us raise the needed support before we leave and we are excited about getting on the field! With that said, I must ask you to pray with us about several needs that we have. Our plane tickets will cost us about $2,200. We would like to buy these as soon as possible to ensure we can get the lowest price. Our resident visa will cost us about $2,000. We are beginning the process of getting the paper work in order along with many other things like a house, church building, church supplies, and a vehicle.
February has started our cross country trip as we have meetings scheduled all over the south west. We will have the privilege of being in over seventeen churches in six states. We ask you to please pray with us for safety and that many of these churches will join with us as we take the Gospel of Christ to the Islands of the West Indies.
