Hello from Bequia,
Thank you for your prayers and support. The last two months we have been busy and we thank the Lord for all that he has done for us. The ministry here in Bequia has been progressing slowly but we are excited to see the Lord working in hearts and lives here as we continue bible studies during the week and preaching every Sunday at a family’s home.
This last week we were invited to preach at two churches on the main island of St. Vincent. This was a blessing to us to be able to minister to some other churches and be encouraged by the faithfulness of other pastors and missionaries. We have also received a letter that our two year residence visa has finally been approved! We praise the Lord for working that out for us and already supplying the $3500 needed to pay for them.
We have been praying about finding a building to use for the church but have not been able to find a suitable building. We are currently meeting outside at a family’s home. The last few months we have been praying about purchasing a tent and chairs that we can use for the Church plant here in Bequia and also use as an evangelistic tool to travel and use on other islands in the future. We are looking to buy a 30x30 tent, 75 chairs, and possibly a small portable generator. We have estimated the cost to be around $8000 including the shipping. Please help us pray about this need. Once we have the tent, we would like to canvas the whole area with information about the tent meeting and hold a week or two of meetings.
