What a joy it is to serve our Lord! On September 18th at 7:33 P.M. the Lord blessed us with a healthy, 6lb. 4 oz. baby girl, Emily Elizabeth Ballinger. We thank you all for the prayers and encouragement that McKenzie received during the pregnancy. I want to ask you to continue to pray for Mckenzie, as she will need to undergo Gallbladder surgery before we are able to go back to the mission field in December.
During my last month in Bequia I was able to travel to four churches on St. Vincent to preach and visit with some good Christian friends from the surrounding Islands. I was also able to help another missionary and his church with replacing the windows in the church building,
Since returning to the states, I have not been able to travel as much as I had hoped, but the Lord has allowed us to be in several new churches. We also had the opportunity to be a part of the “We Stand With God Rally” in South Carolina and looking forward to the next one in North Carolina on October the 17th.
During the months of October and November we have a several meetings planned, although we do still have open dates. We are praying that we can raise just a little more support. If your church does not currently support the ministry and you would like for us to come by and present the work in Bequia, please give me a call at 704-734-8548.
Lord willing, we will be returning to Bequia first of December. We want to ask you to pray with us that we can find a building or land that we can start holding services and bible studies in on a regular basis without the conflict of scheduling that we had with the Community Center. We know that the Lord has a place for us and we are excited about getting back to where the Lord has called us to minister. We ask you to contune to pray for the many souls that are lost and confused in Bequia, with so many religions and cults many people can’t see the truth of God’s Word. Our desire is to be a light in this Dark World!
