Dear pastors and friends, We praise the Lord for all his mercy and grace. We are thankful for all that God has done for us in 2016 and are excited for what he has in store for 2017. God has answered so many prayers and supplied every need thus far, and I believe God is able to continue to supply through his people.
Thank you to all those that have given and prayed for us concerning the tent, a Special thank you to our good friend, Matthew Pawley, and McKenzie's brother, Zack Blalock, for gathering and packing the tent, supplies, kid’s Christmas presents, along with Grits and Coffee for Mckenzie and me!! Shipping cost us nearly $2,000 but we were thrilled to be able to clear customs and transport everything here to Bequia for $1,200 a little less then what we had saved. GOD IS GOOD!!
Today, January 31st, we received approval to be able to use the local playing field to set up the tent and hold a two week gospel meeting from March 20th-31st. Please pray for the meeting, we have a lot to do and a short window to get everything ready. We will be using several pastors and missionaries from the main island of St. Vincent. We are praying that we will have a good response and see many souls saved through the meeting. Any pastor will tell you, holding any sort of meeting can be very trying and expensive. Please pray with us concerning all aspects of this meeting and the possibility of two more tent meetings on other islands this year.
We are still working on finding a more permanent place to set up the tent, where we can continue holding regularly weekly meetings and bible studies. Over the last few months God has allowed us to meet with several individuals and families to do Bible studies; we’ve met in homes, on the road, under trees and anywhere we can. We have had several families that have expressed that they would enjoying coming to regular services because we preach the Bible. There are many false religions that have many people confused, please pray that we will have wisdom in dealing with the people and souls will be saved..
In Christ
